Greenwood Apex 35 Fiberglass Project

This Greenwood backyard centers on an Aviva Apex 35 finished in Gibraltar Grey, a modern, low-profile color that lets the water features and lighting take the spotlight. The clean rectangular layout gives the family space to relax and play while matching the home’s architecture.

A custom pergola frames the shallow end, hiding plumbing inside the rear posts to feed rain-curtain waterfalls that sheet into the pool. At night, integrated LED lighting turns the curtains into a moving light show across the water.

Entertaining happens in the sunken outdoor kitchen beside the pool. It’s outfitted with beer taps, full cooking amenities, and a striking fire feature set right on the countertop between the kitchen and pool zones, so everyone stays part of the same conversation. The lower elevation buffers wind and keeps sightlines open to the water.

Behind the scenes, full automation manages the system, with chemical automation, saltwater chlorination, and a heat pump that can heat or cool the water to dial in comfort as the seasons change. An automatic pool cover adds safety, energy savings, and an easy way to keep things clean when not in use.

Because the family loves volleyball, we added a removable net across the pool for quick games. The layout still preserves lawn space for future plans, and a covered breezeway connects the home to a separate building with an indoor volleyball court, keeping the whole property geared for play.
